Samuel J. Smith is the Managing Director of Interactive Meeting Technology an event technology consultancy that specializes in interactive meetings. Sam helps event owners identify and implement interactive meeting technologies that are the best fit for their event objectives and budgets. Sam has been working with technology professionally for more than 13 years and international events in Europe since 2006. He worked at Ford Motor Company, 3M, GT Urological and Shockfish SA (creator of Spotme) before starting Interactive Meeting Technology in 2010.
In 2010, Sam co-founded Event Camp Twin Cities to create a space for event professionals to experience new and innovative technologies and event formats. Sam contributes content to EventCoup, a web 2.0 and social media blog and Engage365, an event social media community.
